represents small businesses in a range of different industries, including ski and zipline areas, board certified behavior analysts, and international concierge asset managers.\u00a0 Kristen advises clients on contractual agreements, employment agreements and handbooks, other labor related matters, an array of compliance issues involving anti-money laundering and other regulations promulgated by OFAC, FinCEN, and other divisions of the Treasury Department and the Department of State.\u00a0 She also handles trademark applications for clients.\u00a0<\/p><p>Prior to founding Mueller Law, LLC, Kristen worked both as in-house counsel and as a senior litigation associate at law firms and government agencies.\u00a0 She has experience with complex litigation matters, including commercial, civil, real property transactions and taxes, domestic relations, and criminal matters.\u00a0 During her legal career, she has represented private companies, school districts, title insurance companies, and individuals&#8211;including two death-row inmates.\u00a0 With her broad litigation background and knowledge of the law, Kristen provides clients with critical insight into possible outcomes of a given transaction.\u00a0 She anticipates worst-case scenarios and strategically structures contracts and relations to protect clients in their endeavors.<\/p><p>Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and French from Indiana University, and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
