Kristen Mueller-KHURTSIDZE

Kristen has been practicing law in the United States since 2007 and currently represents small businesses in a range of different industries, including ski and zipline areas, board certified behavior analysts, and international concierge asset managers.  Kristen advises clients on contractual agreements, employment agreements and handbooks, other labor related matters, an array of compliance issues involving anti-money laundering and other regulations promulgated by OFAC, FinCEN, and other divisions of the Treasury Department and the Department of State.  She also handles trademark applications for clients. 

Prior to founding Mueller Law, LLC, Kristen worked both as in-house counsel and as a senior litigation associate at law firms and government agencies.  She has experience with complex litigation matters, including commercial, civil, real property transactions and taxes, domestic relations, and criminal matters.  During her legal career, she has represented private companies, school districts, title insurance companies, and individuals–including two death-row inmates.  With her broad litigation background and knowledge of the law, Kristen provides clients with critical insight into possible outcomes of a given transaction.  She anticipates worst-case scenarios and strategically structures contracts and relations to protect clients in their endeavors.

Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and French from Indiana University, and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.
